FRONT PORCH FELLOWSHIP – PENTECOST

 

When Father God created us and gave us the whole of the Garden of Eden, He never intended for us to live our lives on our own. He always wanted to be part of our lives, our strength.

Then the wily enemy created doubt and caused us to question Father’s Word. And sadly, it broke the Divine bond we were created to know.

 

Father knew it was coming, knew it would happen—He is omniscient. But He had a plan already in place.

 

Fast forward a few thousand years to the birth of Christ, His life, His death, His resurrection. But before He returned to His place in heaven, he remained with His disciples to prepare them for living as Father God originally intended—in the power of Holy Spirit.

 

Forty days He remained with his chosen disciples, forty days He walked with them to teach them, to give them encouragement, to strengthen them.

 

The Day of Pentecost changed the course of history. Holy Spirit was restored to us. Made available to us. Ready to fill us with His presence, to empower us with His glory. To dwell in us.

 

 

Holy Spirit guides us, teaches us, comforts us. He is our source and connection to Father God. He is our strength, He is our knowledge, our wisdom.

 

Holy Spirit is our all because we are spirit beings. When we receive Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, our spirit man is reborn and we walk as the spiritual beings we were created to be.

 

On the Day of Pentecost, the fullness of Holy Spirit came upon man, not to consume him—us—but to equip and complete us.

 

Father God is our all in all, and Holy Spirit is His presence abiding, dwelling within us.
