MY REVIEW
Guilt is a wicked viper. And it’s haunted Kieran Elliott for years. Years earlier, three people died in a horrific storm and Kieran blames himself.
The tide and caves in the bay had been a favorite place for Kieran and his friends to hang out—and they all knew not to get stranded on the island in high tide. Because the sandy shore disappeared leaving no way back to the main island.
What mysteries lay hidden far in the recesses of the caves? What or who are the survivors who appear and disappear with the tide? And what is the truth of the crashed boat that took Finn’s life?
Ms. Harper’s characters are real and relatable, their interactions and exchanges real and believable. The twists and turns pull the reader, page after page, to the unexpected end.
