MY REVIEW

How have I not read Irene Hannon before!!! Have mercy, this story gob smacks the reader right in ‘the feels.’ This story is more than just two wounded hearts finding each other. No, Ms. Hannon takes the reader on a deep emotional—and healing—journey. She doesn’t hold back on the reality that life can be, the intense reactions to trauma, the instinct to flee, to survive—alone. But she also weaves healing threads through her characters’ encounter.
