FIRST THINGS FIRST - I’M MOVING
Well, my blog is moving. I started out on Word Press and I really liked it. In the beginning, at least. I haven’t blogged much lately but when I did it was becoming more tedious to format my posts—I don’t create online, I do ALL my writing and formatting in Word, then upload it.
Last week, I decided that since I’m feeling so much better that it was time to get back into the blogging pool. I set out to upload a post and schedule it for this week when—BAMMO! WHAMMO! The formatting options had changed. Now maybe I’ve become the proverbial ‘old dog…’ but it just wasn’t user friendly to this use.
So I Googled other options and have landed on Blogger. You can now find me at

I hope you’ll give me a follow and spread the word. And eventually I’ll set up the subscribe option for my little newsletter, too…

What are you reading?
Friends of Authors Society
Who knows the best way to show your love for your favorite authors? (I’m one, right? Your favorite?) Besides the obvious of buying and reading my books, leaving a review on Amazon tickles their calculations and formulas and moves my books up in their ranks, which in turn means more peeps see my books, which means more peeps are likely to buy them.
There are other things you can do, as well. Suggest my books to your library or book club. Tell your friends, buy gift copies to give to your friends. Heck, tell ME how much you love ‘em!
Robin’s Readers Flock
My Facebook group just for my reader friends!
I appreciate every one who has read or will read my books, and this group is for you!
“This group, as with my blog and website—and my writing—are all about community and family. It is a place to gather to chat and discuss my books, but also to become better acquainted and to encourage and pray for one another.”
I share snippets and tidbits that I don’t share elsewhere, as well as first previews of cover design. And when I’m stuck, I go to the Flock for help.
If you’re interested, gimme a holla! I’d love to have you as part of my Flock!
FourSquare, the Series
Coming in 2025!!!
The last couple of years have been difficult, a situation that has created anxiety and stress and turmoil. Then in August, my landlord notified me that they would be selling the house. The little house I lived in for 16 years! I made the executive decision to put my writing on hold and deferred the release of Double Double, Who’s in Trouble to July of 2025—hopefully… I picked up my pen, aka keyboard, on Christmas—my gift to myself.
As my brain tends to do, I’ve noodled with the stories for Books 3 & 4 in my FourSquare Series. In Book 4, Nerds versus Bullies, school-teacher Zach is also an author. And I’ve decided that he’s writing a murder mystery. Oh, and his victim is named Christie, as in Agatha Christie. Just wait till you see my cast of characters!
All in the Family
Through the aforementioned turmoil and the move, my precious and beautiful daughter has become the Mama Bear, stepping up to help me out, to defend me, and just being awesome in general. Her daughter graduated high school this year and is pursuing her degree in architecture! Be still, my design-loving heart!
Devotional
Mold was discovered in the house I just moved out of, which created / compounded health issues for me. In the two months since I’ve been in the apartment, I am already stronger and feeling less of the brain fog that had become so constant.
As ever, Father God was faithful to get me out of that environment.
Manifesto and Author Tag
The manifesto short version is,
“Stories for Christians to see or remember the ugly effects of the lies of the enemy, and for unbelievers to see the beauty of the Truth of the Word of God.”
And my author tag:
“the battle for identity, one story at a time.”
Chatcha’ll next time.
